We cover all of Alaska and the greater Seattle markets with branches in both Anchorage, Alaska and Seattle, Washington.
Job Description
Your primary duties as a Business Broker/Intermediary are as follows:
1. Identify and work with business owners to prepare and facilitate the sale of their business now or at some point in the future.
2. Identify and work with organizations and individuals seeking to acquire businesses for either investment or operational purposes.
Position Type: Independent Contractor
Average Broker earnings range from $200,000 to $500,000 Annually with unlimited earning potential (we have Brokers that have earned more than $1M annually). This is a commission only position.
Locations
We have Business Broker/Intermediary positions available at both our Seattle and Anchorage offices. You must live within commute-distance of either our Anchorage or Seattle offices to be eligible for this position. All Alaskan residents may be considered.
Market Segment
We work primarily within the Lower Middle Market (5-50M Revenue) and Main Street (<5M Revenue) segments. We have an M&A group to handle larger transactions.
Work Environment:
We offer buyside representation for strategic buyers seeking bolt-on acquisition opportunities within our geographical areas of influence in Alaska, the Greater Seattle area, and beyond. If you have clear parameters regarding the target business(s), we’ll source the business for you.

Our Brokers are highly skilled in managing relationships with all individuals and organizations involved in business sales transactions.
Technical Competence
Successful applicants need not be experts in our industry but must possess an aptitude and willingness to diligently utilize our business processes and systems. This will include a range of proprietary software applications as well as strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Financial Literacy
To successfully facilitate business Acquisition Sales transactions applicants must possess, or be able to acquire, all necessary financial literacy skills relevant to such transactions. This includes, but is not limited to, the understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, Asset Lists, etc.
