Job Description

Your primary duties as a Business Broker/Intermediary are as follows:

1. Identify and work with business owners to prepare and facilitate the sale of their business now or at some point in the future.

2. Identify and work with organizations and individuals seeking to acquire businesses for either investment or operational purposes.

Position Type:  Independent Contractor

Average Broker earnings range from $200,000 to $500,000 Annually with unlimited earning potential (we have Brokers that have earned more than $1M annually).  This is a commission only position.

Locations

We have Business Broker/Intermediary positions available at both our Seattle and Anchorage offices.  You must live within commute-distance of either our Anchorage or Seattle offices to be eligible for this position.  All Alaskan residents may be considered.

Market Segment

We work primarily within the Lower Middle Market (5-50M Revenue) and Main Street (<5M Revenue) segments.  We have an M&A group to handle larger transactions.

Work Environment:

We offer buyside representation for strategic buyers seeking bolt-on acquisition opportunities within our geographical areas of influence in Alaska, the Greater Seattle area, and beyond. If you have clear parameters regarding the target business(s), we’ll source the business for you.

Interpersonal Skills

Our Brokers are highly skilled in managing relationships with all individuals and organizations involved in business sales transactions.

Technical Competence

Successful applicants need not be experts in our industry but must possess an aptitude and willingness to diligently utilize our business processes and systems. This will include a range of proprietary software applications as well as strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

 Financial Literacy

To successfully facilitate business Acquisition Sales transactions applicants must possess, or be able to acquire, all necessary financial literacy skills relevant to such transactions.  This includes, but is not limited to, the understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, Asset Lists, etc.

 Integrity Confidentiality

Most importantly, our Brokers always exhibit a high amount of integrity in all their activities and are highly driven to ensure our clients’ interests are always placed first and their information remains confidential.

Kirill Kleyner

Kirill Kleyner is a seasoned financial professional with over 27 years of experience in global finance, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investment strategies.

He recently joined Transworld Business Advisors as an M&A Business Broker, bringing his extensive expertise to help clients navigate complex business transactions with a strong background in institutional equity sales and trading. Mr. Kleyner has a proven track record of fostering relationships with key investors and structuring significant deals. During his tenure at Uralsib Financial Corporation, one of Russia’s largest investment banks, he secured top clients and generated substantial commission revenues.

Mr. Kleyner’s experience extends to agricultural production, where he founded and led K2W, Inc., demonstrating his ability to streamline operations and manage teams effectively. His diverse skill set encompasses financial analysis, equity valuations, and corporate finance holding FINRA Series 66 and SIE licenses, as well as NFA and real estate certifications.

Mr. Kleyner is well-equipped to provide comprehensive guidance in various financial and real estate transactions. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis, Accounting, & Auditing from Moscow State University of Management at Transworld Business Advisors.
